8/21 Rider's Meeting

Wow, I just got done typing this weeks Rider's Meeting, went to post it and lost it.  So here I go again:

Word on the street, or should I say word on the water is; rider's are getting ready.  Everyone seems to be in preparatin mode for the upcoming APBA Nationals @ J. Percy Priest lake in Nashville TN.  The home of country music, and for one weekend in September, the home of bad-ass American Watercross.

In the Southeast, the Hurricane Racing crew was out last weekend with a big ride.  Bill "Hurricane" Haig, Steven Haig, Brian Kemp, Jimmy Wilson, Zack Spring, Ralph Carr and Kennie Mckenzie were burning buoys, celebrating Brian Kemp's upcoming marriage to his fiance' Brenda! Congrats Brian & Brenda!

Speaking of KMAC; he's selling a nice stock class SXR (See other article at OptimaRacing.com).  So if you want to win stock class races, and look like KMAC while doing it, buying his ski is a great start!

In other Nashville preparation news, Paul Puchalski is putting on another awesome Lake Norman NC practice. No where gets rougher, and he is expecting a good turnout of riders.  If you are interested in practicing, meet at the race site/boat ramp where the APBA/H2X Tour race was held back in July.  Practice is Sunday the 23rd, starting around noon.

For you dirt balls out there, the AMA Motocross Series rolls into Budd's Creek Maryland this weekend for the 10th round of that series.  If you are nearby, try to make it out to the national, as Budd's Creek is a top notch facility and has only gotten better since they hosted the MX Des Nation's two years ago.  Gnarly and fast, Budd's Creek is Outdoor Motocross at its best!

That's all we have for this weeks Rider's Meeting. As always, if you ever have anything to input or would simly like to complain about something, let us know.  We will be happy to add it to the site!
